Frequently Asked Questions

The park is a secured exercise area for dogs featuring fixed agility and play obstacles.  It is approximately 3 acres of undulating grassland situated at Millside Country Store, Southwell Road, Thurgarton, Notts, NG14 7HG.

All obstacles in the park are complimentary for dog play or training purposes and it is entirely your choice if you wish to use them or not. 

You are in the field on your own (unless YOU decide to book it with others) and no one else can use the field during your time slot

The park is ring fenced and gated to six feet in height, you should drive into the park and close the gate behind you before letting any dogs out of your vehicle.  (Whilst we endeavour to keep your pet safe, it is entirely at the owner’s own risk should you have an escapee.)

The park allows you to drive in and close the gate behind you, before letting your dogs out of the car. If another person is finishing their session, you must wait until they leave before entering the park.

Yes, upon booking we will issue you with the padlock combination number so you can let yourself in.  We ask that you padlock the gate when you leave.

Children and family members are welcome at the park. However, we please ask that children are always supervised and are not allowed to climb on any of the agility obstacles, gates or fencing.  It should be noted that the field can be unlevel in parts and sensible footwear is advised.

We supply a dog water bowl and there is a hose if you wish to wash your dog off.

10 dogs is ideally the maximum.  If you are interested in hiring the park for dog training purposes please contact us on 01636 831111 or facebook message us out of shop hours to discuss your requirements.

Ideally bring along your own poo bags but if you forget them don’t worry, we have a dispenser on site and designated dog poo bins. Please be observant of your dogs and tidy up after them, if you do come across any mess on site from previous users, we apologise as accidents do happen!  However if you could please advise us so we can deal with it accordingly it would be much appreciated.

We are happy to rearrange your booking where a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is provided – we will reallocate your session and your payment will transfer to your new booking.

Please follow the instructions on our website this will take you to payment where you choose your time slot. If you’d prefer to book directly, please call the shop on 01636 831111 and we can take payment over the phone. We can also take payment instore if the park is free for any impromptu bookings in shop hours, however prebooking is advised.
